Lumu Connect started from the founder's own experience of growing up without a community of fellow adoptees. The challenges of navigating identity, belonging, and the complexities of adoption were deeply felt, especially without a support system that truly understood these unique struggles.
Motivated by the need to find a place of connection, empathy, and shared understanding, Lumu Connect was created to bridge that gap. It offers a platform where adoptees can engage in meaningful conversations and build relationships, without the burden of constantly explaining their experiences.
Our goal is to create a space that fosters healing, communication, and mutual growth—something the founder once longed for. Through Lumu Connect, adoptees can come together, share their stories, and find the strength in shared solidarity.
